Meet Elena's studio

Needle & Vow is a one-woman bridal alterations studio in Richmond, VA. Elena does every fitting herself — which means every message, reminder and reschedule used to be her job too.

DMs arrive at midnight — about 20 minutes of back-and-forth per bride just to find a time.
Dresses arrive late, so plans have to flex around the wedding date.
Evening slots are Wednesdays & Thursdays only — they fill first.
No-shows in peak season (May–October) leave gaps she can't refill by hand.

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally 10+ weeks before your wedding for the full three-visit plan. Under 10 weeks we offer a rush plan, and under 6 weeks Elena reviews each request personally.

What should I bring to my appointments?

Your dress (once you have it), the shoes you'll wear on the day, the undergarments you plan to wear, and any veil or accessories.

What if my dress hasn't arrived yet?

No problem — book a consultation now and we'll schedule the fitting and pickup as soon as your dress is in hand.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Your confirmation page has self-service rescheduling that keeps every visit before your wedding deadline.
